The recent Super Bowl between the Patriots and the Rams resulted in the Rams’ defeat. Unfortunately, rams weren’t the only animals that received a loss in the football game. The halftime show featuring Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi had more than 98.2 million viewers, who watched as Big Boi entered the stage in an “extravagant fox fur coat.”
Many animal rights activists and fans were heavily upset with Big Boi’s choice of attire for his performance. There were multiple comments under his Instagram attacking his coat, and PETA posted a response saying
Especially given the chance to perform at a huge event, it is upsetting that Big Boi chose to wear a fox fur coat. Many people who are fans of Big Boi may be inspired to wear a coat like he did. Celebrities, being trend-setters, should be able to take a step back and understand that wearing a coat made of animal fur may upset viewers.
So far, Big Boi has not yet responded, but shows no remorse as he posts Instagram stories flexing his fur coat.
